Moab Mineral & Gem Show
The Moab Mineral & Gem show is usually held on 2nd weekend in October. This is a must attend for rock hounds, gem collectors, or anyone who has a respect for geological rock formations. Vendors complete fill the Old Spanish Trail Arena with various types of geodes, crystals, minerals, jewelry, and surprisingly creative rock art. Gourd Festival Castle Valley
Every year Castle Valley has a gourd festival where several pieces of gourd are sold by various vendors, as well as a silent auction for a handful of different pieces of gourd art.
A puppet show, face painting, and gourd decoration is provided to entertain children at the festival.

The gourd festival has been held on the 2nd Saturday in October every day of the year.
